A European investment fund, SISU Capital Ltd., is taking over NiGuRa Metzler Optik of Germany after a brief insolvency, due to the bankruptcy of its former Hong Kong-based own, Moulin Global Eyecare Holdings. The acquisition includes the global eyewear licenses for Etienne Aigner, Longines, Marc O'Polo and Reebok eyewear, with the consent of the licensors. A new company with 75 employees run by Helmut Otto in Düsseldorf, NiGura Metzler Optics International, is taking over the assets. It will not market the other eyewear lines that were in Moulin's international portfolio.
