A free symposium titled ?Women Ask for Directions? will take place at the Vision Expo East fair in New York in March, focusing on key issues facing women in the optical industry. It is being organized by the Vision Council of America (VCA). The dynamic U.S. association, which is trying to work more closely with those of other countries on product standardization and other issues, has reached a total of 214 members with the recent addition of these eight companies: Diversified Ophthalmics, Luzerne Optical Laboratories, U.S. Vision, A&R Optical Machinery, Brican, Compulink Business Systems, Nanofilm and RLISYS Practice Management Solutions.
