A research project carried out by Allensbach in Germany shows that 90 percent of all people wearing glasses in Germany have never tried contact lenses. The Kuratorium für Gutes Sehen (KGS) in Berlin launched a new video on YouTube and on its own website, kgs-info.de, to show opticians the advantages of combining the selling of contact lenses and eyeglasses. The video shows the most important figures for the German market and a survey on consumers' interest in contact lenses. According to  KGS, every third person would be willing to wear contact lenses. KGS has also launched a new website, brillenstyling.de, with the aim to generate more interest in having an additional pair of glasses. With videos, photos and texts, fashion experts try to make people consider the variety of available frames and glasses.
