After a long absence, a couple of major Italian companies are coming back to Silmo next Sept. 26-29 along with one of the three major suppliers of contact lenses, CooperVision. Marcolin's new management has agreed to take a stand of 100 square meters in Hall 6 for its newly licensed Diesel brand, but the company will also have a private lounge of 160 m² next to the exhibition halls to present its other collections to invited guests. Another Italian firm, Allison, will come back to the show floor by presenting its new Moncler eyewear line in a 72-square-meter stand in the Silmo Village. CVI will have a stand of 80 m² at the fair. Officials of the trade show hope that other Italian firms and other major contact lens companies will return. Some negotiations are underway in this regard.
