After producing some styles of sunglasses on its own, Zadig & Voltaire, a French fashion group known for its notion of accessible luxury, had struck earlier this year a an agreement in principle with L'Amy for a line of prescription frames and sunglasses that should have become available by the end of 2010 or sooner. The contract is now technically in the hands of Lunettes Grasset, which is part of the L'Amy group since 2000, and will run for five years. The first styles should be offered to the trade in mid-2010.
