Ahead of the publication of Afflelou's official results in just a few weeks, Didier Pascual, the recently appointed CEO announced in an interview with the French website Acuité that the group outperformed in France with a 1.5 per cent growth on a comparable basis, in a slightly declining market. Pascual also confirmed a target of 65 new stores' openings in 2018 worldwide including 20 for the Optical Discount banner.
