Alexandre Montague was appointed managing director of Essilor France last month. He has been working for the French company since 2011 in various top management positions in the Middle East and Asia. Before joining Essilor, he spent 15 years at Carl Zeiss Vision in Asia, rising to the position of managing director for Japan and Korea. Montague succeeds Ludovic Matthieu who had been in the position since 2013 and will now be in charge of the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
