Allison is the new licensee for Iceberg eyewear, replacing Visibilia since the beginning of 2006. The 5-year renewable license between Gilmar, the brand's owner, and the Italian manufacturer, will start with the men's and women's collections to be showcased at this year's MIDO for the prescription models and at SILMO for sunglasses. The new eyewear line will be marketed in Italy and abroad through Allison's distribution channels and offered in Iceberg concept stores. Allison would not confirm a report that it has guaranteed minimum revenues of €70 million from the Iceberg line over the next five years. Allison closed 2005 with turnover of €87 million including licenses, up by 14 percent on the previous year.
