Atol (Association des Techniciens en Optique et Lunetterie), one of the major French cooperatives of opticians, has appointed Michael Kodochian as its new director of strategic projects. The cooperative has launched this year a new innovation strategy for products and services called Transform'Atol 2016-2020 plan, which Kodochian will now pilot. Kodochian, 42, joined Atol in June of this year. He started his career at the innovation lab of Bouygues. He later joined Bossard Gemini Consulting and Solog. He has also worked as director of the SAP project at Total from 2003 and 2006, and has later held similar positions  at Schlumberger Information Solutions until 2014.
