Audio 2000, the audio branch of Optic 2000, has launched a campaign in France which offers free hearing tests to anyone up until April 30. According to statistics gathered through a survey last year, almost 5 million French people have trouble with their hearing. These people belong to three broad categories: the over 55s, employees in the industrial or construction sectors, and young people who have damaged their ears with loud music. The tests are performed in any of the 149 doors and involve several stages of analysis. Claude Brasseur, a well-known French actor of a certain age, is the face for the new campaign.
