Bausch + Lomb and CooperVision have reaffirmed their commitment to unilateral pricing policies (UPP) in the U.S. on the back of Johnson & Johnson's decision to discontinue minimum pricing requirements for its contact lenses. Bausch + Lomb says its UPP helps to support innovative product offerings while Coopervision confirms it will continue to oppose any legislation that goes against the pro-competitive intentions of the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act.
