Bausch & Lomb has a new corporate vice president and global president for vision care in Peter Valenti III. He joined the company in January as president for vision care in North America, coming from Covidien, where he was vice president and general manager for surgical devices. He also held leadership positions with Johnson & Johnson. He fills the position left by Stuart Heap, who is stepping down for personal reasons but will remain a strategic adviser for the company. Replacing Valenti in the North America position is Steven F. Robins, who was most recently a general manager and a vice president with Johnson & Johnson.
