Pramaor, the italian producer of Blackfin titanium frames based in the Cadore region, closed 2014 with sales of €4.9 million, up by 48 percent year-on-year. Orders went up significantly, too, by 62 percent. Exports – representing 71 percent of total sales - were the leading factor, up by 56 percent to €3.5 million. But the domestic market was also quite positive, registering growth of 29 percent.

To satisfy market demand, the firm has started a new coloration department at its factory, which will allow it to develop more original and exclusive colors. It has also strengthened its customer care service to give more assistance to opticians.

The objective for 2015 is to achieve a 40 percent sales increase, reaching production of 100,000 pairs entirely made in Italy. With a workforce of 45 persons, Pramaor sells Blackfin eyewear in 33 countries worldwide, mainly in Europe, North America and the Far East, directly and through distributors. As in Italy, Austria, Germany and Spain, Pramaor has been selling directly to opticians in France and Greece from the beginning of this year.

Pramaor will have a completely redesigned stand at the upcoming Mido fair in Milan, where it will launch a new, high-impact communication campaign.
