BMC Industries, the parent company of Vision Ease, has obtained a new 60-day waiver from its bankers, extending until next Jan. 13 the time limit required to repay certain credits and fees. Interest charges will be deferred. The company had indicated that it may have been forced otherwise to file for bankruptcy protection. It has reported a consolidated net loss of $12.2 million for the 3rd quarter ended Sept. 30, against a loss of $2.4 million in the year-ago period. Revenues from continuing operations fell to $40.8 million from $42.5 million.
