BNL Eurolens, the French leader in polarized injection, has created a new position to support the expansion of its offer of polarized and photochromic lenses, which is evolving particularly into the fashion and sport segments. The company, which became the property of Essilor a few years ago, has appointed Christophe Mayet to the new post of sales and marketing director, just as it gets ready to launch some major innovations. His assignment will be to develop synergies with clients and to push sales of BNL’s latest innovative plano lenses. The position was created already last May, but it was announced only recently. Prior to this new job, Mayet ran the French Chamber of Commerce in Milan and acted as export manager of Mecserflex-Invensys, a British supplier of industrial products and control equipment in Swindon, UK.
