CECOP, the Spanish optical buying group that has 1,700 members in Italy, Portugal, Spain and the U.K., has signed new agreements with three Portuguese suppliers: Vladi Iberica for frames; Prooptica for eyewear from Portuguese fashion brands; and F3M, a software supplier. Agreements with major German producers are about to be finalized. CECOP has renewed its agreements with the main multinationals in the sector such as Hoya, Essilor, Safilo and Luxottica, while new contracts have been signed with Polaroid and Charmant. And the group has increased the discount awarded to members who take responsibility for processing their own orders.
