Celebrating its 90th birthday, Oliver Goldsmith has donated number 90 of a limited edition of 90 limited President frames to the British Optical Association Museum, located within the College of Optometrists in London. Number 1 of 90 will be retained by the British entrepreneur. The museum documents the history of the 20th century through the styles of spectacle frame that have been worn throughout the decades. Along with nearly 4,000 pairs of frames, the museum holds objects and archival items relating to the history of ophthalmic optics. The museum was founded by John H. Sutcliffe, who also founded the British Optical Association in 1901.
