Circle Peak Capital, a private equity firm based in New York City, has completed the acquisition of three separate high-end optical retailers located in different parts of the USA to form one single luxury eyewear retailing platform, appropriately named Luxury Optical Holdings. The deal, which included the purchase of Davant LLC in Las Vegas, Morgenthal Frederics Opticians in New York and Optical Fashion Center in Los Angeles, gives the new umbrella company 25 premium stores located in and around New York City, Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Terms of the deal, which was completed earlier this month, were not disclosed. The chief executive of Luxury Optical Holdings is going to be Pierre Keyser, a former official of the Richemont Group who helped orchestrate the deal together Bernard W. Andrews, former chief executive of Eye Care Centers of America (ECCA). Luxury Optical Holdings' head office will be in Las Vegas.
