CooperVision has launched in Europe a new line of disposable colored contact lenses, called Frequency Colors, prior to a launch in North America later this year. CooperVision's worldwide sales of contact lenses grew by 16 percent in the 2nd quarter ended Apr. 30, not including the low-margin OEM business. They rose by more than 21 percent in the USA. Overall, the Cooper Companies raised their turnover by 22 percent to $51 million in the quarter.
