Andy Wolf Eyewear, the Austrian brand of designer eyewear, has told us that, to protect employees, it switched its production sites in Hartberg, Austria, and Jura, France, to emergency care in the first couple of weeks of the coronavirus lockdown. The company is now restarting operations step by step, setting up measures to ensure proper hygiene and prevent infections. Andy Wolf has not dismissed any employees, despite the standstill. The company says it has already received numerous orders from its clients. Like Mykita, it expects consumers to be more mindful in their purchases and shift their focus to quality and innovation as the pandemic wanes. Production will continue at Andy Wolf’s production sites in Austria and France.
