Pro Optik, a chain of 140 mostly franchised stores in Germany, has paid tribute to doctors and nurses during the coronavirus crisis by giving corrective frames to people working in the health care system. Entitled are about 500,000 doctors and almost 1.1 million nurses who are in the forefront of the battle against Covid-19 in Germany. The campaign will last until May 15. The company has not set a maximum limit on the number of corrective frames, but said it would supply everyone interested during the campaign period. The offer is valid for frames from Pro Optic’s Selectra, Backstage, Gasolino, Joe’s, Uncle, Laura M., Claudia Lopez and Stan O’Brian frame collections with Pentax lenses.
