De Rigo Vision is partnering with Chopard on a project intended to protect the customer from counterfeiting. The new Chopard by De Rigo Vision collection introduces the use of the Certilogo code on each pair of glasses. This code is meant to guarantee the product is authentic. Every pair of sunglasses and optical glasses in this collection will be labeled with an individual Certilogo Code (CLG) that will appear on the temple interior. The customer will be able to verify the authenticity of their glasses both before and after purchase at any optical store or on the web, by clicking on www.certilogo.com or using the Certilogo app. Verification is also possible by registering via Facebook, Google+ or with a valid e-mail address, by inserting the Certilogo code printed on the glasses and responding to a few simple questions. A response is immediately sent to the customer regarding the authenticity of their glasses.
