Dunelm Optical has appointed Phil Toolsy to the role of export manager in a bid to expand the company's sales outside the U.K., which currently represent about 20 percent of the turnover. He has already been ten years with the company, which already sells its frames in more than 50 countries, directly and through distributors. Dunelm has experienced increased interest from foreign clients following the devaluation of the British pound. It will show at Opti in Munich next month for the second year. It will continue to have a booth at Mido and Silmo.
