Employees of CooperVision were able to collect a record amount of $200,500 through multiple events around the world as part of the company's annual World Sight Day Challenge. Cooper Companies matched the sum and donated the proceeds to Optometry Giving Sight, the international vision care charity of which it is a Gold Sponsor. It was the sixth year in a row that CVI organized the contests, selling bracelets marked as CooperVision Fight for Sight. This year's events included bike runs in several countries, a football match in Mexico and auction in China, among others.
