The Canadian healthcare company Bausch Health announced the appointment of Paul Herendeen, its chief financial officer since 2016, to the newly created position of advisor to the chairman and CEO of the company, starting June 1. Herendeen’s CFO responsibilities will be transferred to Sam Eldessouky, who joined Bausch Health in 2016 also and is currently a senior vice president of the company, and its controller and chief accounting officer. In the same announcement, Bausch Health confirmed that the spin-off of the eye health business Bausch + Lomb was progressing, and that executive leadership will be announced in early May when the company will report its Q1 results.
