After six years at BBGR-Nikon France, and most recently as the company’s president, Prûne Marre has been appointed to Essilor Europe’s board of directors and to the position of vice president North Europe for the group. Replacing Olivier Chupin, who had been in charge of the region since last year and has now left the group, Marre will be overseeing Essilor’s business in the U.K., Ireland, Benelux and the Nordics. Guy Sasson, who joined the Essilor Group in 2012 as director of the equipment and low vision’s division for France in 2012 and was appointed sales director of BBGR France in 2017, is taking over from Marre as BBGR France’s president.
