Pro Optik, the German eyewear chain, has hired Gerd Kaufmann. He previously held a similar position with bielomatik, a German plastic welding firm.
Micha Siebenhandl, Pro Optik’s chief executive, who was appointed in March 2020, has been reinforcing the company’s management team over the past weeks.
The company previously announced the hiring of Holger Schumann, who was head of financial planning and analysis at Apollo-Optik, as head of controlling.
Recent appointments also include Thorsten Lücke, who is in charge of purchasing and of the subsidiary Seleste. While Evelio Sousa, who was previously head of purchasing and of Seleste, is taking on the central function of director in charge of enterprise resource planning and will oversee of the introduction of new software programs over the coming years.
Silke Liebermann became head of marketing and the hearing aids business. She was previously head of product management and marketing at the hearing aid manufacturer Sonova.
