Micha Siebenhandl, Pro Optik’s 47-year old chief executive, who was appointed in March 2020, has reinforced the German company’s management.
The company has hired Holger Schumann, previously head of financial planning and analysis at Apollo-Optik, as head of controlling.
Meanwhile, Thorsten Lücke was appointed to be in charge of purchasing and of the subsidiary Seleste. He has a long experience in the optical industry. He was responsible for five years for purchasing at Apollo-Optik after which he worked as supply chain manager for Fotogica, which, like Apollo-Opti, is a subsidiary of GrandVision.
Evelio Sousa, who previously held the position of head of purchasing at Seleste, will take on the central function of director in charge of enterprise resource planning and will oversee of the introduction of new software programs over the coming years.
Silke Liebermann becomes head of marketing and the hearing aids business. She was head of product management and marketing at the hearing aid manufacturer Sonova Germany. The previous marketing manager, Kathrin Heinritz, has left the company.
