Fedon, the century-old Italian maker of cases for eyeglasses and other accessories, has developed a program for opticians based in and outside of Italy to instruct customers on how best to care for their eyeglass lenses. It's a sort of graphic instruction manual explaining in five frames that lenses are best cleaned with a proper, micro-fiber cloth, and not with your tie, the fabric of your shirt, and so on. The opticians are invited to purchase a batch of microfiber cloth, with Fedon's little lens-cleaning manual printed on them. The results of the initiative will be disclosed at the end of 2019.
