GHM, the organizers of the Opti show in Munich, invite exhibitors and opticians to take part in a discussion, “Seed Session – the future panel,” which will be held on Nov. 17 in Munich to discuss the future of the trade show, which will occupy two newly constructed trade show halls, C5 and C6, starting with the 2019 edition. Opinion leaders, key players, voices from various sectors, industry insiders and long-term Opti exhibitors will participate in the discussion. For the first time, both optometry representatives and industry representatives will come together to exchange ideas on the subject. A road map will be set up for five “Seed Sessions” that are due to take place until 2019, always alternating in the autumn and the spring. So far, Alcon Pharma, Cazal, Carl Zeiss, CooperVision, Essilor, Flair, Dr. Eugen Beck, Funk International, Ferdinand Menrad, Heikaus Interior, Hoya Lens Germany, Rodenstock, Rupp+Hubrach Optik, Satisloh, Silhouette Germany and Spectaris have signed up for the first panel discussion. ECCO, European Council of Optometry, and Optics, the Swiss opticians' association, and ZVA, the German association for opticians and optometrists, will be representing the visitors.
