Hoya Sees Higher Operating Margins On Shrinking Vision Care Sales

The vision care division of Hoya Corp. improved its operating margin to 21.2 percent in the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with 18.1 percent in the same second quarter one year ago, despite a 3.4 percent sales decline to ¥30.3 billion (€248.4m-$313.7m).
