IGA Optic, a German buying and marketing group to which 450 optical retail stores are affiliated, has obtained exclusive rights to market the Dunhill line of men's frames, joining three other exclusive product lines ? Robinson in the sports eyewear segment and Ambiente and La Perla in the women's segment. Meanwhile Carsten Schünemann, a 39-year-old optician, has been promoted as managing director of IGA Optic, replacing Horst Kleinewiese who will remain as a consultant to the group until 2008. Schünemann has worked for more than 9 years with the company, particularly in product management.
