In just three years, the Livestrong collection of sunglasses by Oakley has sold so well that more than $5 million has gone toward the cancer charity by the same name, set up by Lance Armstrong, the famous American road cycling champion. The Livestrong collection kicked off in 2007. Oakley overall isn't doing poorly, either. It had a 20 percent sales increase during the first quarter of 2010, despite the economic slowdown, and the growth rate reached 30 percent for Europe.
