Invu, the young Swiss brand based in Zurich, partnered with Sightsavers last month for a new line of polarized sunglasses, I Wear Red, which retail for €60 per pair. It has pledged to donate €1.50 from the sale of each pair to the non-profit association to help a child in need of vision correction. In a similar vein, Modo Eyewear launched a similar initiative – “Buy a Frame - Help a Child See” - for World Sight Day. In partnership with the Seva Foundation, Modo pledged to provide vision screenings in schools, exams at hospitals and, when needed, free vision correction and surgery.
