Italian exports were up by 4.7% in first quarter

Italian eyewear exports continued to grow, though at a slower pace than last year. According to the Italian National Statistics Institute, the increase for the first quarter of 2012 was only 4.7 percent to €680 million, as compared to the same period a year ago.
