Italian organizations took to the road to promote the country's eyewear industry at an exhibition in Istanbul from June 30 to July 14. The exhibition, called “Eyewear, a Never-Ending Italian Story,” featured more than 100 pairs of eyeglasses, tracing their evolution from their origins to today's latest trends. It was presented by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) and the Italian Association of Optical Goods Manufacturers (Anfao). They set up in the Harvey Nichols department store in the Kanyon shopping center in Istanbul, a high-end location suited to showcasing the qualities of “made in Italy.”
