Italy's Vision Group had 274 directly integrated Vision Ottica stores at the end of 2017, or 14 more than a year earlier. Adding other operations including those of the Occhibelli group, which was acquired in 2016, the number of affiliated stores rose by about 500 to 2,100 points of sale, managed by 1,700 optical retailers. This compares with 1,480 points of sale at the end of 2015 and about 1,600 at the end of 2016. The total sell-out rose by 20 percent to more than €60 million in 2017. In contrast with the other affiliated stores, Vision Ottica stores have coordinated marketing activities and common guidelines for their product range.
