Jim Eisen has assumed full responsibilities as chief executive at HVHC, a division of Highmark Health and the parent company of Visionworks and Davis Vision. Eisen had been joint chief executive along with Michael Sullivan since May 2014. Eisen will also remain president of Visionworks, while Celina Davis will remain president of Davis Vision. Prior to joining Visionworks, Eisen was senior vice president of store operations at Jo-Ann Stores. He also served as vice president of operations at Cole Licensed Brands. HVHC includes Visionworks, the fourth largest U.S. optical retailer with 650 outlets; Davis Vision, the third largest U.S. managed vision care provider; and HVHC Distribution & Manufacturing. The company plans to add up to 50 Visionworks stores in 2015, according to a report by VMail. HVHC operates in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
