Johnson & Johnson reports a 10.5 percent increase in sales to $11.6 billion for the 3rd quarter, partly thanks to the strong sales of Vistakon contact lenses. The company's net earnings reached $2.3 billion in the quarter, up by 13 percent. Its Worldwide Medical Devices and Diagnostics division, which includes Vistakon, made sales of $4 billion, up by 7 percent. Vistakon's disposable contact lenses was said to be a ?primary contributor? to the operational growth.
