Josef May, chief executive of Silhouette Germany, was re-elected chairman of Spectaris during the general meeting of the German optical industry association on Sept. 13. May has been chairman of Spectaris since 2007 and will remain president for the next two years. He will also be leading Spectaris' consumer-optics specialist group as well as the association's national committee of Baden-Wuerttemberg. André Schulte, chief executive of Weinmann Emergency Medical Technology, and Ulrich Krauss, chairman of Analytik Jena, were re-elected vice presidents of Spectaris. Mathis Kuchejda, chief executive of Schmidt+Haensch, was re-elected treasurer.
