Kenmark Optical is about to announce a licensing agreement for a new eyewear line named after Vera Wang, the American fashion designer, but probably initially only for the USA and a few other territories. It's part of a program to raise the fashion contents of Kenmark's lines, which include Hush Puppies and various unbranded products. With this in mind, Kenmark has hired David Duralde as director of product design, a new position. He was previously international product manager of L.A. Eyeworks' wholesale division and, most recently, director of product development for Signature Eyewear, where he was responsible for designing the Eddie Bauer and Hart Schaffner & Marx collections.
