Krys Group, the French voluntary retail group, has renewed its licence with Hoya to produce the Japanese group's lenses at Codir, its manufacturing unit near Paris. The partnership has been extended for four more years and will also include for the first time the full ranges of Seiko lenses, which is part of the Hoya group. According to Krys, this partnership is covering about 65 percent of the 8 million lenses that its affiliated stores sell annually. As part of the new deal, Krys Group will also be able to sell Hoya and Seiko lenses manufactured outside Codir's laboratory.
