Liberty Sport is launching a new sports eyewear frame specifically designed to alleviate dry eye symptoms. Its new Trailblazer Dry Eye MagTraxion frame traps moist air around the cornea and blocks wind that would otherwise disturb the eye. It does so through a magnetic back cushion with ventilation holes that control airflow, preventing fogging. The cushion has a magnetic application system that allows for quick removal and change. Founded by the DiChiara family in the U.S. in 1929, Liberty claims to have introduced the first prescription sports goggle in 1978. The company sold its ophthalmic frames division in 2000 to concentrate on performance sun and sports eyewear.
