Licefa launched a new heritage collection at Opti '12. Called Licefa Since 1907, the line aims to revive the design of the 1950s and '60s. Licefa also presented a new collection under the brand name ProGear, for which the company holds the license for the German-speaking countries, the Netherlands and Belgium. Glasses from the ProGear collection can be used both in the office and when exercising sports by attaching a stretch ribbon to both earpieces. In 2011, Licefa raised its total sales by about 15 percent, with growth of about 20 percent in Germany and 10 percent abroad. Starting this year, Licefa will distribute its collections directly in Switzerland. In China, Licefa has set up a subsidiary for quality control and to facilitate the production process.
