Lower margins for Hoya’s eyeglass business

Hoya Corporation reported an 8.1 percent increase to 81.6 billion yen (€623.6m-$664.0m) for its second quarter ended Sept. 30 in the revenues of its Life Care segment, which includes eyeglasses, contact lenses, intraocular devices, endoscopes and other products.
