Luxottica and Safilo ranked, respectively, as the best and third-best improvers of their corporate website sites among Italian groups, according to the H&H Webranking 2009 Italy released by the Swedish financial communications group Hallvarsson & Halvarsson. The restyling of the websites of the Italian eyewear companies enabled Luxottica to gain 35.25 points, boosting the tally to 63 in H&H's ranking, and Safilo added 19.5 points to reach 48 points in the classification. Overall, Luxottica was in 10th position this year compared with 63rd last year, and Safilo rose to the 28th position from the 60th. The oil giant Eni topped the ranking for the second year in a row, with 89 points out of a maximum of a 100. The second-best improver was the utility company A2A, slightly ahead of Safilo with an improvement of 20.25 points. The survey covers the 100 companies with the largest market capitalization.
