Lynx Optique, one of the retail banners of the French Krys Group, increased same-store sales by 6.0-6.5 percent in 2010 compared with the previous year, according to Acuite.fr. The chain boosted its overall turnover by about 9 percent compared with a 2 percent rise for the total French market. About 15 percent of the banner's stores have adopted the group's new format, code-named Black Concept, and their sales went up by about 19 percent in 2010. Eight more stores are already lined up for the refurbishment. The group has more than 110 stores and plans to expand the network to 200 doors in the future.
