Mailander's integrated communication strategy for Mido has been honored at the 19th edition of the annual Assorel Awards with the special “Digital Media” award. Assorel, the Italian Association of full-service Public Relations Agencies and a member of the Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria), has been presenting its awards for the best public relations campaigns, in various categories, since 1997. Mido had asked Mailander to develop initiatives to increase the visibility of the 2016 trade show, which took place in Milan on Feb. 27-29. The 2016 edition of Mido attracted 52,000 professionals from all over the world. Mailander's work had already been recognized in prior years, with awards at the 7th, 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th Assorel Awards. Mailander was founded in Turin in 1987. The agency specializes in strategic consultancy in the fields of communications, public relations and digital public relations. In 2011, Mailander established a dedicated internal Digital Public Relations department for the conception and implementation of cross-media projects as well as social media and digital communications tools and campaigns.
