Marcolin's sales subsidiary in Germany has stopped marketing the group's sports eyewear lines, Cébé and The North Face. Starting last Jan. 1, their distribution in Germany has been taken over by Reichel, a specialist in the market that also sells Frank Bollé's Weps brand of sunglasses, Bula winter headwear and other products. Reichel has stopped selling the Bollé brand of sunglasses, which is now handled directly by its European head office in Paris, with customer service support from Bushnell's German office in Cologne. Thomas Lange, a former executive of Oakley, is coordinating the project in his new role as sales manager for Northern Europe. On the other hand, an independent distributor, Schmidt Sports, will handle sales to sporting goods specialists.
