Mondottica has announced a strategic partnership with Zoobug London, the highly creative British children's eyewear specialist, by setting up a dedicated international children's eyewear division. Run by Julie Diem Le, who founded Zoobug in 2006, it will allow Mondottica to expand its fast-growing portfolio of children's lines, which currently comprises the brands Joules, Pepe Jeans and Ted Baker.

Mondottica will provide Zoobug with its global infrastructure, manufacturing resources and distribution, while in turn Le, a former surgeon, will provide her medical expertise. As part of the agreement, Mondottica will distribute worldwide the premium sun and optical collections of Zoobug for boys and girls through a license and service contract. Le will continue to oversee relations with leading fashion stores such as Harrods in London, LVR in Italy, Kids 2 in Singapore and Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong.

Founded by a Canadian, Michael Jardine, Mondottica has shareholders working for the company in Germany, Britain, France, India and Australia. It has offices and operations in Hong Kong, London, Paris, Barcelona, Brussels, Venice, Moscow, New York and Sydney.
